[Her attention is split between the film (two young boys, brothers, the elder making a paper boat for his brother) and Felix himself. He's from some prior time, possibly an alternate reality? She's not certain, but what she does know is this puts her in a privileged position. As long as he wants to know more he has to get his information from her. Ergo, she has his undivided attention.

A slight flush overtakes her cheeks. Her fingers touch to her lips as she carries on.]

It's not th-these, exactly. It's cameras, they're bigger. Much bigger sometimes, th-they have to put them on stands or use machines to move them. They d-don't take calls like phones, they're specialized just t-to record things. [Film isn't her passion, but it is a form of the arts. In spite of the soulless trash the industry keeps shipping out there are gems to be found in the onslaught. She still refused any attempts at adaptation of her own work of course, she doesn't trust luck would fall in her favour, but an appreciation of the medium remains.]

They don't do this all at once, either. B-because it can be recorded, the scenes can be performed any number of times. They'll put a camera on one actor for a while, then m-move everything to the other side to film the s-second.

It's all become quite sophisticated, actually. The first films didn't have color or sound.
