[not much removed from a bureaucrat, really. sort of the polar opposite of him. so what happened to his face?]

And you're sniffing around for a new business venture here?

[ Good question, what DID happen there? ]

Among other things. We do all have to make do, don't we? Supplies are key to survival.

[ His hands spread, a half-smile on his face. Clearly, there was more, but... His business certainly wasn't one to share. ]

I am used to having a product to sell, but without resources... it's required to start over from the ground up.

And? Have you decided what to sell in Stygia, yet?

[normally he'd just feign disinterest, but there's not much else to do while he waits to get paid, and besides that, there was something darkly interesting in a just-below-the-surface kind of way about this slightly oily note-taker.]

Hm. I have some thoughts, yes.

[ Which is...not descriptive, but Felix would likely note the way his eyes flick toward him, and then back down to the monster parts before him. It's intentional, of course, that he doesn't say what.

He is, after all, not precisely the most open fellow in Stygia. ]

[what is a poro. do they not have cats in bags where he's from? felix sighs, and shrugs dismissively, his eyes watching silco like a hawk.

he's about to say something else when there's a call from the shopkeep, holding up a scrap of paper, and a small bag filled with coins. pushing himself off his leaner, felix moves forward to collect, pocketing both, before moving to leave the tent properly. but just before he does, he pauses, even with the other man, giving him an inscrutable look.]
