WHAT: Winter was never his favorite time of the year, especially since the winter always seemed to last forever.

[ laurent saunters over and watches augustine's work, the bouquet taking a pleasantly round shape through the magic of simple cutting. he can admit there is something soothing in this. carefully, he pulls a stray leaf from his hair and flicks it toward the counter, then brushes a bit of imaginary dust from his shoulder. ]

Do you sell poisonous plants here? Something that might cause someone great discomfort but not kill them. [ he leans forward, settling his pale hands on the counter while he idly gathers the fallen snippings into a neat pile, pushing them around while he talks. ] I'll work for something like that. And to pay off my debt for my order that I never received but you would like me to pay for anyway. I make no objection to this.
