[ It is sad boy vibe hours. The whole place is about as fun as Dimitri, which is to say, not at all. But it's warm around the fire, and he doesn't find the castle quite as dour so long as other people are in it—maybe that's why it's so easy to invite Sooyoung inside. It isn't any less precious or safe by having people he likes inside. Maybe it's even moreso.

He's bringing a heavy blanket over when he starts to look abashed. She didn't know because he makes a point not to really tell people. What's the point? ]

[Sooyoung finally shuffles back to the fire because that is where the warmth is, though she does spend a moment to stare unabashedly at Dimitri... up close and personal...

I guess I shouldn't be that surprised. [she doesn't specify whether or not she means dimitri's vibes are royal or that she's just met so many royalty so far. maybe it's a mixture of both?

she sticks her hands closer to the fire,]

You've adjusted pretty well for a normal person slash royal. The apartment must suck in comparison.

Not at all. The convenience of all those machines can't be understated—I can even make tea without starting a fire first. [ Running water! Stoves! Broken microwaves! It's amazing. ] Besides, ours is not a tremendously wealthy nation. I tried not to live lavishly.

[ The castle, while huge and well-defended, lacks creature comforts. Or even decoration. The atmosphere kind of sucks in general, actually, even moreso than he remembers it usually being. ]

Truth be told, I actually enjoy living with you all.

[sticking her hands inside the fire isn't doing much warmth-wise... she'll reach for the end of the blanket instead, so she can duck under it and then stick to Dimitri's side like a duckling,]

Does that 'all' include Yoo Joonghyuk?

[ Oh, even with everyone getting cuddly these days, he's not really used to being this close to people. She scurries up next to him like a squirrel into a burrow. After a second, he relaxes; it's undeniably much warmer like this, her presence rivaling the heat of the fire itself.

She's near enough that she can probably see the tiny grimace on his face. ]

Yoo Joonghyuk... [ this guy.......... ] I don't want to speak ill of your friend. It's only that our personalities... don't align very well. [ HE'S AN ASSHOLE ] But I've realized recently that there might be more to him than I thought.

[Sooyoung should have asked first, or at least had the grace to be shy about it... but she's like a lizard -- she thrives only when she's sufficiently warm, and she's reasonably sure that Dimitri won't mistake this as another love confession scenario since he's already rejected her (she has just enough of an ego to find that offensive, tch). Her mood is improving... shown by the way she immediately cackles,]
