[ when the feeling of unease hit rosa tried, at first, to ignore it. with so many other things happening at once, it was easy to just assume the feeling was another curse hanging over their heads. except then it doesn't go away, and it turns to a point where you just have to be sure.

so, after crossing through the tempest and making it back to the shadowlands, the girls make their way to their houses. in general, rosa doesn't come here too often other than the random check-in-- she personally doesn't think it's really worth the trouble. it's why this giant need to return is bewildering and concerning. ]

We can just take a quick look.

[ she doesn't want to keep lumine here for too long, when they still have other ground to cover. plus, she also isn't quite used to letting anyone in here... even when they're not trying to make soulmates, it still feels a little too uncomfortably intimate. ]

[ lumine understands rosa's discomfort, especially as they near her door. and it's mostly the reason why she lingers and keeps her distance from the other girl's home, knowing how personal each of their places is. she doesn't want to step on toes or cross any boundaries rosa doesn't want to be crossed.

that, and she also feels a cold sense of dread at the pit of her stomach, creeping through her veins like cold poison. she hates the fact that her own home seems to have been invaded too.

[ a quick look won't be enough to confirm if everything is okay. at least before they leave, lumine wants to ensure all is well. that's the most they can do, considering how far they traveled. ]

so, she'll bite the bullet and just open the door. from here, nothing looks too unusual-- but it's still not really enough to settle the forever nagging feeling that something is wrong. she steps inside, nodding towards lumine that it's okay for her to enter as well. ]
