he has never encountered anyone who could generate and manipulate the elements in this way, no less switch between them as seamlessly as the boy is doing now. it's undeniably tied to his strange energy, channeled outward through specific hand maneuvers.

it's remarkable, really; to the point of momentarily distracting him and slowing his reaction down by a fraction.

grimmjow recovers quick enough to dodge out of his way with sonido, evading his attack and materializing in the air behind him. he doesn't have any fancy elemental moves, but his strength alone is enough to compensate. sweeping his leg out, he aims to land a kick to his side.
