Someone suggested that I check out the school, so I think I'll do that and see if I learn anything interesting.

[ she doesn't sound like she's too convinced that'll lead to something helpful though, going by what's advertised as the curriculum... but better to check all avenues than not. ]

But besides that, I've mostly just been trying to adjust.

Oh, you are about the age to be enrolled in school. I was about seventeen when I was in Academy myself.

I hope you do attend. It would be a good opportunity, even here.

I figure that even if nothing ends up being interesting, it could potentially be useful to really see what this area finds important enough to teach...

[ maybe it'll be useful later? and if it's not, she can just stop going and never finish her education... again. ]
