( It was great how many people she'd managed to round up and pass information to. It was wonderful how many in the same situation wanted to help those dragged in and punished. While Kokomi might have hesitated more if the fate of her people were on the line, the truth of the matter is that she's "dead". It's strange how that gives her so much freedom, compared to before. A dark thought in the back of her mind tells her that it's better this way, that she had no idea what she was doing. But for the time being, she shoves it away, focused on the steps of the guard across the next hall.
She ducks back behind the wall, folding her arms and bringing a hand to her chin. )
They're moving as I expected, which means that there's been no information passed about leaked schedules. Either they're terribly confident, or clueless. I tend to lean towards the worse option for the sake of defensiveness...
Mm, but regardless, we should move forward as planned.
( Her voice is soft and cautious, but clear and firm. Her eyes meet Childe's, and then she moves a gloved hand back to the wall, ready to move around shortly. )
From here, we should be able to make it further in and see where so many have been taken. Are you ready? This is the last point to be able to turn back without risk.

Maybe it's because he isn't the type to strategize all that much, but to witness someone who's so clearly in her element eclipses his own feelings about the matter. It also helps that she knows what she's talking about so Tartaglia didn't mind lending her his strength. Plus, they both knew the Traveler, and that's reason enough for him to help.
He keeps his eyes focused in the other direction just to make sure that no guards were about to sneak up on them. There shouldn't be any according to the schedules and routes, but one can never be too sure.
When Kokomi mentions that this is the last chance for him to turn back, he scoffs lightly, but it's without any malice. ]
