[Although for someone divine as him, time is a little different, in the way it passes. Zag shifts his weight, looking at Shalem's tail, wondering if there would be a way to cover it or keep it comfortably warm.

The idea of a tiny beanie for its tip sort of tickles him, but he won't say anything about it, finding it a bit too silly.

He turns their interlocked fingers gently.] Do you think it's working?

[despite wanting to be casual about this, shalem looks down at their hands as well.]

I don't know yet. Perhaps it's like a kettle-- it shan't boil while being watched. [he might have butchered that idiom a little, but the gist is there...!]

[Zag almost gasps when he mentions that he may be somewhat invading the crystal's privacy as it does its thing.

Ahh... it's a shame I don't have a book with me. [then he turns to zagreus and taps him on the shoulder, a look of mischief on his face.]

Do you have movies on your phone?

[He perks up! Oh! He can be useful. Excuse him while he single-handedly reaches within the folds of his chiton to get his phone.]

I have a couple from a job on the notice board a while ago. Take a look; maybe you haven't watched any of these before? [He hands it over to him when he opens a list of the files there.]

Oh! [it's shalem's turn to perk up. he knows exactly what zagreus is talking about.] That man is prone to losing his movies, isn't he?

[then he waves his free hand around. the movies were interesting. a lot of tension, but not that scary. but some of those movies had well-done tension, so he enjoyed himself.]

You're a fan of ghost movies, I take it.

You, too, huh? [He saw how the job posting would disappear from the notice board, only to be put up again the next day. That tickles him, so he chuckles lightly as he peers at the ones Shalem is looking through.]

Sure, though if you scroll down, [look at him knowing the lingo!] you get the ones I had on my phone before that are of a different genre. [Action, fantasy, sci-fi, mostly. He just looked at the ones that seemed to indicate a journey or some travel, and he's a curious lad.] You pick. I haven't watched any of those yet.

How about fantasy, then? Horror isn't so horrific to me. [look, if you grew up the way shalem grew up, your life would be one whole horror flick.]
