[Look… He is an old, crusty vampire hunter. It never even dawned on him that one day (in death?) he would be enlisted here and there to kiss people to free them from a parasitic plant.

Can’t he just cut it down…? Why… No one wants to kiss him, he thinks.

Measuredly, he approaches, and doesn’t pause with any hesitation as he steps right up beside her. He reaches up to remove the hat. Polite.]
