D appreciates the fellow decorum actually. He is strangely very big on knightly code of conduct. Which is why he respectfully took his hat off before.

He does not swoop in to smooch Sylvain, but allows the other man to kiss him while he tips his head. The lips that seem like they would be cold are actually warm! Lucky Sylvain!

Does this fix literally anything though? Maybe… Are they satisfied with the smooch…?]

[ it's really not often he has to tilt his head up to kiss someone else, even by a little, so this is all pretty novel to him. and he is faintly surprised that d's lips are as warm as they are—his pale complexion makes sylvain think of winter—a nice way to say, he expected him to be about the temperature of a corpse.

...it's a perfunctory kiss, but not heartless. sylvain smiles a little when he steps back, and gently pats d's cheek. he's kinda fond of this guy despite knowing very little about him—maybe projecting warm feelings he holds towards the other stoics in his life. but anyway, ]
